Position Purpose
The role of Fabrication Project Engineer / Construction Engineering Specialist involves reporting to the Fabrication Manager and working within the COMP5 project under the Fabrication Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison coordinating communication between Subcontractors, Fabrication Yards, and Clients concerning daily Fabrication SCTR activities linked to fabrication progress.
- Develop execution strategies and planning before project commencement.
- Oversee comprehensive planning, management, and implementation of projects addressing Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), Quality, and Cost considerations.
- Ensure proper application of construction strategies and evaluate subcontractor performance against designated plans using key indicators; identify remedial measures through site verification to guarantee correct execution.
- Track and monitor procurement processes starting from purchase requisitions to purchase order issuance and shipment delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline.
- At least 13 years of experience in EPC fabrication projects.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
Technical and IT Competencies
- Strong knowledge in EPC, construction, offshore facilities, and fabrication management.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
