Role Overview

The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Operational Excellence is a high-level leadership role responsible for driving organization-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing operational performance, quality, scalability, and efficiency. Reporting to senior executives including the CEO, COO, and board, the EVP champions a culture of continuous improvement, streamlines operational models, and applies standardized practices to deliver measurable outcomes and sustainable business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and implement enterprise operational excellence strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Create a unified framework for operational performance, continuous improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
• Set priorities, KPIs, and improvement targets to guide operational excellence initiatives.
• Lead efforts to boost productivity, quality, efficiency, and profitability across all units and regions.
• Drive large-scale process improvements by analyzing workflows and eliminating inefficiencies using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and TQM.
• Standardize processes and reduce waste, complexity, and costs to support sustainable growth.
• Establish performance measurement systems, dashboards, and governance to identify and close performance gaps.
• Collaborate with financial and business teams to optimize costs and enhance resource utilization.
• Lead digital transformation efforts including automation, AI, analytics, and implementation of modern operating systems.
• Oversee enterprise-wide change management and capability building programs to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Implement governance frameworks for quality, risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience.
• Develop and mentor senior leaders and teams focused on operational excellence and organizational development.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 18 years in progressive leadership roles within operational excellence, business transformation, or organizational effectiveness.
• Proven track record in leading enterprise-wide operational transformation initiatives.
• Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, process optimization, and performance methodologies.
• Successful history of boosting productivity, reducing costs, and improving quality at a large scale.
• Experience working directly with C-level executives, boards, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to lead complex, multinational, and multi-site operations is highly advantageous.
