The role involves transforming the CEO's vision, expertise, and tone into engaging written materials suited for platforms such as LinkedIn, speeches, opinion pieces, and other channels dedicated to thought leadership.

The successful applicant will act as part strategist, part editor, and part embodiment of the CEO’s perspective. This person must quickly grasp complex concepts, discern what will connect with diverse audiences, and mold those ideas into clear, distinct, and top-quality content. It demands a writer knowledgeable about the luxury watch sector who can modulate tone according to the medium and assist in establishing the CEO’s voice as a credible authority at the crossroads of luxury, watches, data, collecting, culture, and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the CEO and communications team to capture his thinking, perspective, and tone using interviews, conversations, notes, transcripts, and existing sources.
• Generate executive thought leadership content for mediums including LinkedIn, Substack, newsletters, external articles, speeches, and other public platforms.
• Convert sophisticated insights related to the watch market, luxury goods, collecting habits, data, and broader economic or cultural trends into approachable, engaging content.
• Customize the CEO’s voice and messages to resonate with varied audiences such as collectors, luxury industry executives, investors, journalists, and the wider business community.
• Establish and maintain a steady editorial schedule for executive communications, including recurring themes, content formats, article ideas, and relevant commentary.
• Compose, revise, and polish content that reflects authenticity while adhering to rigorous editorial standards.
• Spot opportunities to leverage EveryWatch’s data, market insights, and company milestones into powerful thought leadership stories.
• Work closely with marketing, communications, and leadership teams to ensure alignment with overall branding, public relations, and business objectives.
• Sustain a distinctive and consistent point of view in all executive communications.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess between 5 to 7 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Exhibit outstanding skills in writing, editing, and storytelling with a history of producing executive-level content for senior leaders like CEOs, founders, or domain experts.
• Show skill in authentically capturing and rendering another person's voice without creating generic or overly polished content.
• Have excellent editorial discernment to judge what ideas are timely, compelling, credible, and worthy of publication.
• Be comfortable translating intricate or highly specialized topics into engaging narratives accessible to expert and general audiences alike.
• Demonstrate interest or familiarity with the luxury goods sector, watches, collecting, marketplaces, data, finance, culture, or consumer trends.
• Be highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to working closely with an active executive.
• Show strong interviewing and attentive listening capabilities to convert dialogues into refined written material.
• Maintain a collaborative and humble approach with revisions and constructive criticism.
