About the Role
This position supports one to two Vice Presidents within Cisco's Web Marketing team, which manages the company's extensive global web presence, including platforms like Cisco.com and Splunk.com. The team focuses on delivering innovative, flawless digital experiences. The role can be based remotely from Oregon, Washington, California, or Hawaii, with an anticipated close date for applications on July 21, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the VP's calendar by prioritizing meetings and schedules, deciding attendees and representatives.
- Coordinate speaking engagements, collaborating closely with communications teams to ensure proper preparation and content alignment.
- Organize and plan meetings including logistics, agendas, venue arrangements, and technology setup; prepare briefs and disseminate notes and action items.
- Prepare comprehensive travel packs for international and major domestic events, integrating all relevant event and travel information.
- Handle correspondence, approvals, and act as a communications proxy where authorized, providing recommendations and mentoring colleagues.
- Manage global travel arrangements and expense processes with attention to detail and benefits optimization.
- Support special projects through research, data analysis, and report preparation.
- Provide executive support during significant company events such as GSX.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters and materials.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years administrative experience with at least 2 years supporting senior leadership at director level or higher.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in calendar oversight, event planning, and travel coordination.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities across all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the high-technology sector, Cisco experience a plus.
- Associate's degree.

This role supports full-time remote work from specified U.S. states. The salary range provided applies to U.S. and Canada hires with variations by state. Employees on sales plans may earn performance-based incentives according to Cisco policy.
