About the Role
A prominent law firm in New York is looking for an Event Coordinator to support the organization and execution of various Firm events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage event projects encompassing site and menu selections, invitation design, RSVP handling, list organization, onsite staffing, transportation, and post-event follow-up activities.
- Work closely with vendors, colleagues, and main stakeholders during the event planning stages.
- Keep all involved parties informed about event timelines, schedules, and logistical details.
- Adhere strictly to the Firm's data management protocols by safeguarding confidential Firm and client information, preventing unauthorized access or interference, and promptly reporting any information security threats to management.
Qualification Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in event planning is required.
Necessary Skills
- Robust skills in project management, organization, problem-solving, and analysis.
- Preferably familiar with various venues and vendors in New York.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional with excellent customer service attitude.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with lawyers, staff, and vendors across different professional levels to ensure event success.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Willingness to travel within the US for event support and to work overtime when necessary.
