Role Summary

As an Estimator, you will collaborate closely with project and delivery teams to oversee multiple pre-construction tasks including reviewing drawings and tender documents, preparing precise cost estimates and budgets, and managing supplier and subcontractor quotations. Your responsibilities will also include preparing competitive tender proposals, pricing variations during construction, and performing thorough cost analysis, value engineering, and risk evaluation. Maintaining accurate estimating databases and participating in tender meetings and project cost reviews are also key duties. Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders is essential.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years estimating experience within the Australian construction sector. Proficiency with Monday.com and Microsoft Office or similar tools is required. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are vital. The candidate should demonstrate a proactive mindset, keen attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively. A team-oriented, positive attitude focused on delivering quality results is important.
