About the Role

PMC Exports is searching for a meticulous Estimator to enhance our estimating department focused on UK-based construction projects. The role involves managing tender preparations, document organization, and precise quantity take-offs from construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review and structure tender documents, drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
• Detect absent or ambiguous information and liaise with the Business Development team to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs based on construction drawings.
• Create and update comprehensive quantity take-off spreadsheets.
• Systematically arrange project documents ensuring all data is prepared for pricing activities.
• Deliver completed quantity take-offs along with necessary supporting documents to the estimating team.

Candidate Profile

• Exceptional attention to detail accompanied by a strong focus on accuracy.
• Sound understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and quantity calculations.
• Effective organizational capabilities combined with solid communication skills.
• Proficient in handling spreadsheets and digital estimation tools.
• Two or more years’ experience in estimation, construction, flooring, or related sectors is advantageous.
• Prior experience with UK construction projects is considered a plus.
