Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Endodontist based in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. The role involves performing root canal treatments, retreatments, and related procedures, alongside diagnosing and managing pulp and periapical diseases. Daily activities include patient examination, interpreting diagnostic radiographs, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care with general dentists and other specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patients and accurately diagnose endodontic conditions.
• Perform root canal treatments and retreatments using advanced instruments and techniques.
• Interpret radiographs to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Educate patients on treatment options, postoperative care, and preventive dental health measures.
• Maintain precise clinical documentation and adhere strictly to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with dental professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Contribute to improving clinical workflows and support quality assurance initiatives.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in endodontics.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a recognized dental degree (BDS) with an MDS specialization in Endodontics or Conservative Dentistry.
• Valid registration with the appropriate dental council is mandatory.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in dentistry with specialized expertise in endodontics.
• Extensive experience with a variety of endodontic procedures, including the use of rotary instruments and modern obturation methods.
• Commitment to evidence-based dental practice and maintaining infection control standards.
• Excellent chairside communication skills and patient care focus.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary dental team and to manage time efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
