Position Overview
Based in Denver, this full-time role involves performing embryo culture, morphological evaluations, and other laboratory assays critical for quality control of Vitrolife’s raw materials and finished medical products. The role demands strict compliance with quality management procedures while supporting scientific research and technical troubleshooting within the in-vitro fertilization arena.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate scheduling for various assays and tests.
- Conduct routine mouse embryo assays to ensure product quality.
- Troubleshoot issues and maintain sensitive embryo culture systems.
- Perform general laboratory tasks and maintain comprehensive, accurate records.
- Strictly follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), internal quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing test methods for non-standard sample analyses, including MEA.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in biology, zoology, animal science, or a closely related discipline is preferred; relevant work experience may compensate for formal education requisites.
- At least one year of direct work experience in an embryology laboratory is required.
- Demonstrates precise attention to detail while executing protocols.
- Strong organizational abilities and effective communication skills are essential.
