Role Summary

This full-time on-site position in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, involves performing scheduled inspections, preventive upkeep, and necessary repairs on elevators to maintain safe and efficient operations. Key duties include identifying mechanical and electrical problems, replacing defective parts, calibrating system performance, and maintaining thorough records. The technician will handle service calls, liaise with supervisors and property managers, adhere to safety standards and local laws, and assist with installation or upgrades while supporting ongoing maintenance improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in elevator system maintenance and repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve elevator malfunctions.
• Knowledge of electrical principles related to elevator control systems, wiring, and safety.
• A technical diploma or certification relevant to electrical, mechanical, or elevator technology fields.
• Experience using relevant tools, testing instruments, and safety equipment in industrial or building environments.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and hazard prevention.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documents.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork capability with peers, contractors, and clients.
• Physical fitness to work in confined areas, at heights, and lift moderate weights as needed.
• Prior experience as an elevator technician or related occupation is advantageous.
