Electronics Buyer - PCB Manufacturing and Procurement

Role Summary

This position involves overseeing the procurement process for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing materials, including laminates, copper-clad boards, prepregs, and chemicals. The role demands active vendor development, managing requests for quotations (RFQs), negotiation, purchase order processing, and close coordination with Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams. Ensuring materials are available on schedule and monitoring supplier performance is critical.

Primary Responsibilities

• Source and procure essential PCB manufacturing raw materials such as laminates and copper-clad boards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to support supply chain needs.
• Handle requests for quotations, negotiate pricing and terms effectively, and manage purchase orders.
• Collaborate closely with Production, QA, and Engineering departments to ensure material specifications and delivery schedules are met.
• Track and evaluate supplier performance to ensure consistency and quality in supply.

Candidate Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in supply chain management with strong negotiation skills.
• Proven expertise in vendor management and procurement of active and passive electronic components including ICs, capacitors, transistors, diodes, resistors, and PCBs.
• Willingness to work at the Udaipur location.
