Job Responsibilities

The Ecologist will be responsible for managing and executing ecological surveys, preparing technical reports, conducting Biodiversity Net Gain assessments, working closely with clients, and aiding in mitigation strategies across various projects predominantly within an hour's travel of Bristol. The position involves a balanced mix of fieldwork and office-based consultancy tasks.

Requirements

• Degree in Ecology or a closely related field.
• Previous experience working in ecological consultancy.
• Sound understanding of UK habitats, protected species, and relevant planning legislation.
• Experience conducting ecological surveys and preparing detailed reports.
• Possession of a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Residence within commuting distance to the Bristol office.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
