Role Overview
The position is responsible for managing end-to-end activities in the Gear Assembly shop, ensuring that the final production schedule is met while maintaining quality, cost, safety, and efficient use of resources.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the complete assembly-shop operation for transmission/gear units and support timely delivery of the production programme.
Ensure output aligns with defined quality benchmarks, cost objectives, and safety requirements.
Plan and coordinate resources effectively to improve shop-floor productivity and overall operational performance.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should hold a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and bring 8 to 12 years of experience in handling assembly operations within a gear shop or similar heavy engineering environment.
