SAMCOMINE is a specialized mining services company dedicated to delivering professional solutions in mineral exploration, drilling, and mining projects.
Position Overview
We are expanding our drilling operations and are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Drill Operators to join our team. We have openings for two specific roles: Wireline/Diamond Core Drillers and Reverse Circulation (RC) Drillers.
Key Qualifications
- At least five years of practical drilling experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency operating Wireline/Diamond Core or Reverse Circulation drilling rigs.
- Comprehensive understanding of drilling methodologies, operational parameters, and procedures.
- Capability to safely and effectively operate drilling machinery.
- Competence in equipment inspection and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Willingness and ability to perform duties in remote and challenging field environments.
- Capability to work under pressure while achieving set operational goals.
- Excellent teamwork, clear communication, discipline, and responsibility.
Reporting and Documentation Responsibilities
- Preparation of detailed and accurate Daily Drilling Reports.
- Tracking and recording drilled meters, drilling depths, shifts, and overall progress.
- Monitoring drilling parameters and maintaining precise operational records.
- Reporting on equipment status, downtime, malfunctions, and any operational concerns.
- Maintaining thorough and clear documentation at the field level.
- Effectively communicating drilling progress and technical issues to supervisors and the project team.
