About the Role
SingHealth is hiring a Donor Coordinator for the Singapore Cord Blood Bank (SCBB) on a one-year contract basis. SCBB is Singapore’s first and only community cord blood bank and operates as a non-profit organisation that supports patients with blood cancers and immune disorders by supplying high-quality cord blood units for transplants.
This position focuses on donor recruitment and the full service cycle for cord blood banking. The role also contributes to the development of a national public inventory of cord blood units that meets transplantation requirements, while supporting a family cord blood storage programme designed to make efficient use of resources and keep operating costs under control.
What You Will Do
You will engage expectant parents directly through in-person conversations, phone outreach, online channels, and community activities. Your work will include educating prospective donors, securing consent, and offering follow-up support after the service.
You will also arrange the transfer of cord blood units from KKH, maintain records and enter data according to standard operating procedures, and ensure cord blood unit kits are replenished at collection centres. In addition, you will respond to walk-in and telephone/email enquiries and take part in public outreach initiatives.
Requirements
- A degree in Nursing, Biomedical Science, or a closely related healthcare discipline, together with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Comfortable using digital tools and online platforms.
- Ability to communicate in a second language is an advantage.
- Friendly, approachable, empathetic, and mature in manner.
- Capable of working independently, staying self-driven, and delivering results.
- Careful, proactive, and a strong collaborator.
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.

This is a contract role based onsite in Singapore. The job involves outreach, coordination, documentation, and customer-facing support across multiple channels.
