We are seeking a Distribution Operations Specialist in Cork, Ireland, responsible for managing asset distribution, servicing, and tracking for Apple-branded original content. The role involves coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure accurate and timely delivery of video, audio, and related assets, managing exceptions, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining platform functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily initiation, monitoring, and resolution of distribution tasks across multiple systems.
• Coordinate with Ingest and Distribution Operations teams to guarantee timely completion of essential delivery processes.
• Track milestones and delivery deadlines, alerting stakeholders about transfer or system issues, and providing updates until final delivery.
• Verify completeness and correct formatting of all delivery package components, including video, ancillary assets, and metadata.
• Oversee delivery queues to ensure priority orders and service level agreements are fulfilled.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for delivery failures—diagnose transfer problems, reinitiate failed deliveries, and escalate complex technical concerns.
• Apply knowledge of digital archival standards, file formats, and industry best practices for content delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Asset Distribution Operations within a studio, television network, or related industry environment.
• Strong grasp of file-based delivery standards and workflows.
• Understanding of episodic and movie distribution servicing processes.
• Familiarity with audio/video containers, codecs, and file formats.
• Knowledge of the Apple ecosystem including macOS, iOS, Apple Music, App Store, Books, Podcasts, Apple TV+, Vision Pro, Fitness+, and similar services.
• Organized, collaborative, team-oriented, and able to perform under pressure on large-scale, time-sensitive projects.
• Capability to manage multiple assignments effectively in a dynamic setting.
• Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and sound judgment in escalation protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as required.
• Availability for up to 5% travel, domestic and international.
• Self-motivated with strong critical thinking skills.
