Director of Supply Chain Operations

About the Opportunity

We are hiring a seasoned Director of Supply Chain Operations to own and improve the full supply chain flow across a fast-moving, growth-focused organization. In this leadership position, you will strengthen operational performance, streamline coordination across planning, logistics, inventory, procurement, and fulfillment, and help build scalable systems that support long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supply chain activity across planning, inventory, logistics, distribution, and fulfillment to keep operations running smoothly.
• Create and roll out operational plans that raise service quality, improve productivity, and strengthen supply chain outcomes.
• Track performance metrics, review results, and identify opportunities to make processes more efficient.
• Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Sales, and Customer Success to keep priorities aligned across the business.
• Direct inventory planning and replenishment approaches so customer demand is met without sacrificing efficiency.
• Develop productive partnerships with logistics vendors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
• Use data analysis and industry best practices to lead ongoing improvement efforts.
• Support the rollout and refinement of supply chain systems, planning tools, and automation initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional projects aimed at operational excellence and scalable expansion.
• Coach, guide, and develop supply chain team members while encouraging a cooperative team environment.
• Make sure processes are clearly documented, standardized, and followed consistently throughout the organization.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, or a similar leadership track.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end supply chain operations in a complex business setting.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, demand planning, logistics, fulfillment, and operational planning.
• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering operational improvements.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving ability with comfort making decisions based on data.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms, supply chain planning tools, and operational reporting systems.
• Excellent communication, project coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced study is considered an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to high-growth organizations or publicly traded companies is preferred.
• Background in technology, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, consumer products, or another complex operating environment is an advantage.
• Experience leading supply chain optimization efforts and structured process improvement programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with demand forecasting, warehouse operations, transportation management, and performance analysis is beneficial.
