This pivotal leadership position requires a blend of rapid startup execution and strict adherence to healthcare regulatory compliance. The Director will collaborate closely with executive teams and clinical directors to efficiently expand a network of licensed providers while maintaining quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop predictive workforce hiring models to forecast provider demand by state and licensing jurisdiction, accounting for both asynchronous and synchronous patient services.
  • Define and take ownership of essential talent metrics, including Time-to-Fill, Cost-per-Hire, Provider Conversion Rate, 90-Day Retention, and Credentialing Velocity.
  • Design comprehensive, multi-channel sourcing strategies targeting top-performing Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and administrative support personnel.
  • Manage high-volume and specialized recruitment cycles for remote telehealth clinicians, ensuring candidates meet high standards for bedside manner, digital communication skills, and technical competence.
  • Supervise recruitment processes that comply with complex multi-state licensure requirements, including nursing Compact licenses and state-specific independent practice regulations for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Partner with Operations teams to streamline primary source verification of active licenses and completion of background checks during the offer stage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, healthcare administration, business administration, communications, psychology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, including a minimum of 3 years in senior leadership roles focused on healthcare, clinical, or telemedicine recruiting.
  • Proven success in scaling remote clinical teams, particularly Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses, in high-volume multi-state environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of medical licensing and regulatory frameworks such as multi-state Compact nursing rules, Nurse Practitioner collaborative agreements, and primary source verification practices.
  • Experience working directly with executive leadership, comfortable presenting hiring data, pipeline status, and strategic forecasts to C-suite founders.
  • Strong data orientation and technological proficiency including experience with ATS selection, implementation, and automation of sourcing pipelines.
  • High emotional intelligence and skilled negotiation to manage competitive compensation packages for specialized medical staff while maintaining control over recruitment costs.

Benefits

  • Full coverage of Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance premiums paid by the company for employees.
  • Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance benefits.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
  • Free daily lunch provided on-site.
