Director of Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned professional to guide and enhance manufacturing operations and commercial performance at our site. This leadership position involves comprehensive responsibility for site business management with a focus on profit and loss accountability, improving processes, and fostering cross-department collaboration.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for operations and commercial functions to drive business expansion and increase market share.
• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing safety standards, improving delivery reliability, boosting production efficiency, raising product quality, and optimizing supply chain operations.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant industry regulations and maintain rigorous quality standards.
• Work closely with commercial and product divisions to fulfill organizational goals and cultivate a culture that prioritizes high performance.
• Oversee budget management and monitor performance indicators, adjusting strategies proactively when required.
• Advocate for operational excellence to enrich the overall customer service experience.
• Recruit, nurture, and retain talented teams while encouraging leadership development across the workforce.
• Foster an environment marked by accountability, ongoing improvement, and strong teamwork.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is essential.
• Possess over ten years of leadership experience within the manufacturing sector.
• Demonstrated accomplishments in operational planning, managing profits and losses, and enhancing financial performance.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry-specific standards.
• Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous process improvement techniques.
• Excellent leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and adeptness in managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
