Role Overview
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing daily cinema operations nationwide, ensuring guests receive outstanding service and key business goals are met. This role leads cinema management teams to enhance theatre administration and enforce operational policies, service benchmarks, and collaborative support functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, apply, and refine operational policies and procedures for optimal efficiency.
- Perform audits to verify service standards and policy compliance at various locations.
- Conduct management workshops to strengthen company culture, operational excellence, financial insights, and leadership growth.
- Reduce business risks by ensuring adherence to legal, health, and safety regulations.
- Partner with departmental leaders to formulate and implement strategic plans.
- Work with cross-functional teams to introduce and execute corporate initiatives.
- Analyze data on customer satisfaction, financial performance, service quality, and employee engagement and take appropriate actions.
- Support activities related to new theatre setup, staff training, and launches.
- Recruit, develop, and retain management and staff members.
- Establish performance benchmarks and oversee leadership training.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and formal performance reviews to teams.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to handle employee issues in line with policies and legal requirements.
- Cultivate an engaged workforce aligned with company values through targeted programs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 10 years experience managing multiple units within entertainment, food service, or hospitality sectors.
- At least 3 years experience in supervisory roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related disciplines.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as necessary.

- Deep understanding of industry standards and best practices.
- Exceptional organizational capability and attention to detail.
- Competent with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.

The role involves standard theater settings with moderate noise and activity. Tasks include sitting, talking, hearing, standing, walking, manual dexterity, and occasionally lifting items up to 10 pounds.
