Director of NIL Creative & Strategy - Creative Services

Role Overview

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is looking for a Director to lead its athlete NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) initiatives. This role involves crafting innovative strategies that enhance athlete branding value, create new revenue streams, bolster recruiting efforts, and establish Florida Athletics as a leader in athlete branding nationally. The Director will also act as a strategic collaborator within the athletic department while actively contributing creative ideas.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the development and execution of NIL and athlete branding strategies.
• Serve as a strategic partner across various departments in the athletic organization.
• Mentor athletes and staff members to foster growth and development.
• Create and lead high-level presentations to promote new business opportunities.
• Explore and implement innovative uses of creativity to add measurable value.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Creative Media, Communications, Marketing, Sports Management, Journalism, or relevant field.
• At least four years of progressive experience in collegiate athletics, professional sports, agencies, media, marketing, or entertainment industries.
• Minimum of one year in a supervisory role.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365, Canva, Instagram edits, presentation software, and emerging creative technologies.
• A portfolio showcasing excellence across various creative disciplines is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience mentoring athletes, students, or creative professionals.
