Role Overview
The Director of Client Success will own a portfolio of clients and focus on ensuring they get the most value from ClarityPay’s programs. The role starts with client onboarding and continues through day-to-day management of the relationship and program performance. This person will build strong partnerships, solve issues quickly, monitor results, and keep client expectations aligned with delivery.
The position works closely with client teams and internal partners across Business Development, Marketing, Product, Operations, Risk, Finance, Compliance, and Legal.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and coordinate communication between merchants, service providers, platforms, and internal teams.
- Own the client implementation plan and support a smooth handoff from Business Development while partnering with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
- Set clear performance expectations, measure actual results against targets, and share updates with both client and internal audiences.
- Track and interpret performance and customer experience data on an ongoing basis.
- Create growth and success plans, surface improvement opportunities, present analytical insights, and help drive action to completion.
- Manage operational issues day to day and work with support teams to resolve them within service-level expectations.
- Plan, prepare, and present regular business reviews and client status updates.
- Make sure legal, compliance, and contractual requirements are properly handled.
- Share lessons learned and best practices to improve internal outcomes.
- Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.
- Represent and reinforce ClarityPay’s values by acting with trust, integrity, and consistency.
Qualifications
- Positive, curious, energetic, collaborative, and solution-focused mindset with a reputation for being dependable and trusted.
- At least 5 years of experience in point-of-sale financing, BNPL, private label credit cards, co-brand credit cards, or another partner-lending business.
- Strong ability to analyze data and draw useful conclusions.
- Experience creating client-facing presentations and business reviews.
- Excellent communication skills, including executive-level presentation ability.
- Solid financial understanding, with preference for lending knowledge and related business levers.
- Ability to work independently within established guidelines.
- Proven success in early-stage environments and comfort helping shape strategy and product direction.
- Strong teamwork skills and a focus on practical solutions to business challenges.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $125,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The role also includes a competitive fixed and variable compensation package.

Location and Reporting
Preference is for candidates based in Atlanta or New York City, though remote candidates may also be considered. This position reports to the VP of Client Success.
