Role overview
This is a senior project leadership opportunity centered on the delivery of demanding, business-critical design programs, with a strong emphasis on data center work. The position is based in Canada and offers fully remote flexibility. You will coordinate teams across engineering, architecture, BIM/VDC, and technical design functions to move projects smoothly from early-stage planning through construction support. The role calls for someone who can balance technical depth with practical project execution while keeping scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations under control.
What you will do
- Direct multidisciplinary design teams covering electrical, mechanical, ICT, structural, BIM/VDC, and architectural workstreams.
- Oversee projects end to end, starting with proposals and kickoff activities and continuing through design completion and construction-phase support.
- Act as the main client contact and maintain consistent, clear communication throughout delivery.
- Set and track project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation.
- Review financial progress, including forecasting, invoicing, fee tracking, and change control.
- Plan and coordinate design reviews, project meetings, and cross-discipline collaboration sessions.
- Spot project risks early and apply practical mitigation actions to keep delivery on track.
- Ensure outputs meet quality assurance standards, client requirements, and accepted industry practices.
- Contribute to business development through proposals, fee estimates, and client-facing presentations.
- Coach project teams and encourage strong collaboration, accountability, and technical performance.
What is expected
- You should bring a solid project management background from engineering, architecture, or design consulting settings.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
- At least 7 years of project management experience in relevant technical consulting environments is needed.
- Prior success managing multidisciplinary teams on data center, mission-critical, or similarly complex infrastructure projects is essential.
- You need a strong grasp of data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, ICT, and HVAC systems.
- Experience handling scope, schedules, budgets, and client relationships across the full project lifecycle is expected.
- Working knowledge of BIM/VDC environments and tools such as Revit, BIM 360/ACC, Revizto, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project is important.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities are required.
- You should be comfortable managing several large projects at the same time in a fast-moving environment.
- Professional credentials such as P.Eng, PE, Registered Architect, or PMP are considered an advantage.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.
Benefits and work environment

- Life insurance plus a retirement savings plan with employer participation.
- Paid time off and policies that support work-life balance.
- Access to stock ownership or synthetic equity opportunities.
- Learning and development support in a fast-growing technical sector.
- The chance to contribute to advanced hyperscale and enterprise data center projects.
- Exposure to modern digital delivery tools, including BIM, VDC, and digital twin technologies.
