The Romantik Hotel "Zur Schwane" is a family-run hospitality business in Volkach, near Würzburg, set in a picturesque wine-growing town. The property includes 40 rooms, two restaurants, a charming inner courtyard, and its own winery.

Its restaurant "Schwane 1404" serves refined regional cuisine designed to appeal to guests from near and far. The gourmet restaurant "Weinstock" offers experimental flavour-driven cuisine and holds one Michelin star with 16 seats.

Role overview

The hotel is looking to strengthen the service team for "Schwane 1404" with an immediate opening for a Demichef de Rang. Prior professional experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of your own service station and manage it independently.
• Work closely with a young, motivated team in day-to-day service.
• Contribute fresh ideas and help improve the guest experience.
• Advise guests in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
• Actively promote and sell the house wines and spirits.

Qualifications

• Completed training as a hotel specialist or restaurant specialist.
• Well-organized way of working with strong attention to detail.
• Very good communication skills in English.
• Eagerness to work in a committed, youthful team.
• Strong guest focus and a high level of service orientation.
• Resilience and composure in busy or stressful situations.
