Deli Assistant

Overview

This role focuses on preparing high-quality hot and cold deli products while prioritizing excellent customer service. The position is based at Erne Hill, Belturbet, County Cavan, Ireland, under the Centra brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold Centra's brand values of being Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Based in daily tasks.
• Prepare customer orders across various fresh food sections, including making sandwiches and rolls, serving hot foods, and slicing meats using portion control guidelines.
• Cook, arrange, and present food items throughout the business day.
• Maintain exceptionally high standards for counter displays in all fresh food areas throughout the day.
• Express enthusiasm for quality food by sharing culinary knowledge, recipes, and personal recommendations with customers.
• Handle all customer inquiries promptly, professionally, and following store policies.

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes

• HACCP training is beneficial though not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Previous experience in customer service is advantageous.
• Ability to operate efficiently within a team in a high-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• A genuine passion for food and inspiring customers.
