Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for a Data Governance Analyst to design and implement robust Data Governance and Management frameworks that comply with national regulations and global standards. The role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and operationalize Data Governance and Data Management frameworks aligned with national legislation and international best practices.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), managing data lifecycle activities, Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), data classification, retention, and data subject rights procedures.
- Lead efforts related to Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP), including developing data classification schemes, labeling standards, handling policies, and monitoring sensitive data across various systems.
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, HR, and Business teams to integrate data governance and privacy protocols into everyday processes and platforms.
- Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assurance associated with PDPL, National Data Management Office (NDMO), and relevant data governance regulations.
- Drive improvements in data quality, define data ownership, and foster accountability and stewardship among organizational stakeholders.
Eligibility
