Data Engineering & Cloud Technical Solutions Lead

Role Overview

The Data Engineering & Cloud Technical Solutions Lead acts as the principal expert for Cloud and Data portfolios, responsible for creating high-quality learning products through multiple delivery modes including digital self-paced, instructor-led, and blended formats. This leadership role involves designing bespoke, off-the-shelf, and certification-related solutions tailored to customer demands and market opportunities.

Primary Duties

• Lead the innovation and development of learning solutions for Cloud and Data across various delivery channels.
• Design products that are commercially viable, technically precise, and meet customer needs.
• Curate and develop engaging technical content for digital products and instructor-led courses.
• Create learning solutions encompassing Cloud skills such as architecture, infrastructure, networking, security, governance, operations, and cost optimization.
• Develop Data Engineering learning programs covering pipelines, integration, warehousing, data lakes, modeling, real-time processing, and operational workflows.
• Drive customer discovery and pre-sales engagements alongside sales and portfolio leadership to address business challenges and skill gaps.
• Prepare high-level proposals defining learning methodologies, target audience, outcomes, delivery mechanisms, scope, and business value.
• Convert customer requirements and market trends into scalable Cloud and Data learning offerings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to design active and practical learning experiences.
• Ensure alignment of products with certification standards through coordination with accreditation bodies and vendor partners.
• Improve product design standards and quality through close cooperation with curriculum and delivery teams.
• Maintain and update Cloud and Data portfolios to keep them competitive and current.
• Offer technical expertise supporting product development, customer solutions, and portfolio expansion.
• Identify opportunities for reusable and scalable learning propositions for both public courses and client-specific solutions.
• Stay aware of evolving trends in Cloud technologies and Data Engineering.

Required Experience

• Significant industry experience in Cloud and Data Engineering roles.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and implement learning solutions across multiple modalities including in-person, digital, and blended formats.
• Ability to balance scalability and customization in solution design.
• Demonstrated experience estimating development efforts and meeting deadlines.
• Evidence of thought leadership such as writing blogs, participating in advisory boards, or leading webinars.
• Experience collaborating with senior client stakeholders across various functional areas.
• Connections with vendor, accreditation, or relevant professional bodies are advantageous.
