Data Analyst (Excel)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This remote role involves dedicating 10 to 40 hours weekly to support our data-driven decision-making processes. Compensation ranges from $40 to $55 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively to perform comprehensive data analyses, uncover insights, and assist in strategic decisions.
• Engage with various project stakeholders to gather and interpret data requirements for relevant analytical outputs.
• Ensure datasets are accurate and reliable by conducting thorough cleaning, validation, and consistency checks.
• Create detailed and clear reports and data visualizations tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detect patterns, anomalies, and actionable opportunities within intricate datasets to support business strategies.
• Maintain meticulous documentation covering analytical methods, outcomes, and suggested actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated prior expertise performing data analysis in a business context, primarily leveraging Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail and precision when handling and reporting data.
• Strong capabilities in communicating findings effectively through written and verbal means.
