Role Summary

We are looking for a highly detail-focused and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. This position involves transforming complex datasets into clear insights and guiding different business departments on the effective use of Business Intelligence tools to maximize data value. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling with data, strong communication abilities, and enjoys empowering colleagues with actionable information.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, preprocess, analyse, and interpret extensive data collections to reveal significant patterns and trends.
• Design and deliver impactful visualizations, reports, and interactive dashboards for stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
• Conduct training sessions to educate diverse business units on BI tool capabilities and best practices.
• Offer expert recommendations on utilizing data to solve critical business queries and enhance decision-making.
• Collaborate with data engineering and cross-functional teams to maintain data quality, accessibility, and consistency.
• Identify and propose improvements to processes and data management strategies.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in data analysis, BI technologies, and data visualization methods.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in data analysis or comparable analytical roles.
• Advanced skills in SQL querying.
• Proficient in BI platforms such as Looker Studio, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
• Strong data visualization capabilities with the ability to clearly communicate complex data.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying technical material to non-expert audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-moving environment.
• Highly committed to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or related disciplines such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or Business.
