Position Overview
PNC is looking for a Customer Service Representative to support customers who reach out to the Customer Care Center. The role focuses on handling routine service needs across products, online guidance, account-related questions, and issue resolution. You will work with customers and both internal and external partners to resolve inquiries efficiently and deliver a strong service experience.
Role Summary
This position centers on customer care across multiple service channels. It requires clear communication, careful documentation, and the ability to recommend practical solutions while keeping customer effort low.
Virtual Work Requirements
Because this role may be performed remotely in approved locations, candidates must be able to maintain a private and secure home workspace. A dedicated room with a closable door is required for privacy.
Remote work also requires high-speed wired internet with a direct cable or fiber connection to the modem/router. Minimum speeds must support at least 20 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload. DSL, satellite, dial-up, cellular, microwave, broadband powerline (BPL), and other non-cable/non-fiber connections are not acceptable. Wireless internet is not supported.
If remote work is approved, the employee must work from a quiet, secure, confidential home office, and may occasionally be asked to participate in office-based activities depending on business needs. This opening is for candidates in Mountain or Pacific time zones only, within select geographic locations subject to approval.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide service support for a wide range of products, services, and issue types through multiple customer contact channels.
- Handle incoming questions, investigate concerns, and respond to requests related to products, services, and account activity.
- Work toward resolution of customer issues, suggest suitable next steps, and escalate complex or repeated problems when needed.
- Help maintain strong customer satisfaction by aligning service interactions with PNC’s standards and values.
- Record customer conversations and complete service actions so customers do not have to take extra steps.

PNC expects employees to demonstrate a customer-first mindset and sound risk awareness. Team members should use customer insight to shape helpful solutions and follow the company’s enterprise risk management approach in day-to-day work.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should bring relevant service experience, product familiarity, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A university or college degree is not required for this role, and PNC may consider a mix of education, certifications, experience, and even military service in place of a degree.
Experience and Education
This role typically requires less than one year of related experience. No degree is required. There are no mandatory certifications or licenses.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $34,000 to $59,800 per year. Pay may differ by location, market conditions, and the selected candidate’s skills, background, and education. This position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on company, business, or individual performance.
