Customer Service Assistant

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Assistant to join our retail team in Mitchelstown. Reporting directly to the Shop Manager, your primary focus will be to deliver exceptional service by adopting a friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful approach. You will assist in the daily operations, ensuring the store maintains high standards while processing customer bets accurately and maintaining excellent customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager in day-to-day store operations.
• Take charge of shop operations during manager absences, including opening/closing and team supervision.
• Manage cash handling and adhere to cash management procedures.
• Process bets efficiently using various methods including terminals and EPOS systems.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador by promoting multi-channel and digital services to customers.
• Maintain high shop presentation standards throughout the working day.
• Follow all operational, safety, and compliance procedures consistently.
• Upkeep social responsibility obligations.
• Work effectively within a team and stay composed under pressure.
• Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities offered by the company.

Desirable Attributes
