Overview
We invite an energetic, solution-oriented professional to join our team as a Customer Service and Dispatch Coordinator. This full-time position is located at our Nudgee Beach office and supports our operations remotely. The role demands building strong connections with key stakeholders and contributing to a respectful, accountable, and continuously improving team environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate dispatch for recycled concrete aggregates and roadbase materials using specialized software within a team spanning Melbourne and Brisbane.
- Collaborate closely with Transport and Logistics personnel and Key Account Managers by confirming orders, addressing enquiries, and scheduling truck allocations.
- Manage up to 10 trucks daily, handling customer calls primarily from Queensland, with additional Victorian call support.
- Operate within shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Utilize high-level Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills alongside strong numeracy competencies to manage logistics efficiently.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in the construction sector is preferred but not mandatory.
- Capacity to swiftly acquire product and industry-specific knowledge.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities combined with resilience and a positive mindset.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work productively under pressure with a solution-focused approach.
