Shift Requirements

This opportunity specifically requires availability for early morning shifts beginning at 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM. The role involves a variety of daily tasks including stocking shelves, preparing bakery products before store opening, maintaining store presentation, assisting customers, and operating tills. Shift times vary and include morning, middle, and late shifts with different focus areas:

• Morning Shift: Early stocking and bakery preparation to ensure a ready-to-shop environment.
• Middle Shift: Maintaining cleanliness and product freshness, assisting customers, and managing till queues.
• Late Shift: Customer service at tills, restocking, and preparing the store for the next day.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with friendliness and professionalism.
• Adhere to stock loss prevention procedures throughout the store.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene both inside and outside the store.
• Follow product freshness and rotation guidelines diligently.
• Manage waste disposal appropriately.
• Participate in stock counts as required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol in store.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a strong customer service focus.
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to cooperating within a team environment.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced retail setting.
• Previous customer service experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Specifically for this location, candidates must be able to work early morning shifts.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting hourly wage is €15.40, increasing annually reaching €17.90 by year four.

Year 2: €16.20 (basic), €20.25 (unsocial hours), €24.30 (overtime/Sundays), €32.40 (bank holidays)
Year 3: €16.90 (basic), €21.13 (unsocial hours), €25.35 (overtime/Sundays), €33.80 (bank holidays)
Year 4: €17.90 (basic), €22.38 (unsocial hours), €26.85 (overtime/Sundays), €35.80 (bank holidays)
