Crew Scheduling Associate

Role overview

Akasa Air is looking to hire a crew scheduling professional for its Mumbai head office. This role focuses on planning crew movement, keeping operations compliant, and supporting on-time performance through effective roster and logistics coordination.

Daily operations

• Manage day-to-day crew movement coverage while staying within Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) rules.
• Coordinate crew accommodation needs and support improvements in on-time performance (OTP).
• Work with Network Planning and OCC to make necessary crew pattern changes within the published roster window.

Compliance and safety

Ensure all activity follows safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Logistics and hotel coordination

• Handle hotel booking activity and related logistics processing.
• Track inventory, check invoices, and coordinate transportation arrangements.
• Apply cost-control measures and maintain a complete operational database.
• Create PNRs for crew transfers.

Training and recurrent checks

• Support line training planning and simulator planning for crew members.
• Complete required recurrent line checks before crew are assigned to online flights.

Additional duties

• Take on other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.
• Work in an organized and detail-oriented manner to ensure safe scheduling, regulatory adherence, and strong airline OTP performance.

Qualifications

Graduate degree required.

Preferred background includes a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aviation, Airline Management, or a related discipline.
