Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Crane Driver to join our team for a significant construction project in Limerick. This role offers the chance to contribute to a prominent construction initiative by managing the safe and effective movement of materials, thereby aiding the project's successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a tower crane following established site procedures.
• Lift, transport, and correctly position construction materials and equipment as instructed.
• Collaborate closely with banksmen, slingers, Site Managers, and other site personnel to coordinate all lifting activities.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections, reporting any defects or needs for maintenance.
• Ensure all lifting tasks adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and the defined lifting plans.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with on-site teams throughout lifting operations.
• Facilitate smooth and timely material flow across the construction site to support the project schedule.
• Keep detailed records of inspections and promptly report any operational concerns.
• Advocate and uphold a safe working environment by following all company safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid Tower Crane Operator certification such as CSCS or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience operating tower cranes on construction sites.
• A solid understanding of safe lifting procedures and site safety standards.
• Effective teamwork skills with site management and crane operation teams.
• Strong communication capabilities and a proactive safety-focused mindset.
• Holding Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications is advantageous.
• Experience in large-scale residential or commercial construction projects is beneficial.
