Job Description and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Retail Media, the Business Analyst will manage and analyze digital marketing campaigns tailored for Consumer Packaged Goods clients. This role includes supporting data insights development for AppCard’s CPG platform and is primarily based at the Manhattan office.

  • Evaluate digital marketing campaign metrics such as incremental Return on Ad Spend (iROAS), sales lift, and shopper segmentation.
  • Generate comprehensive CPG insights reports to monitor brand trajectories within the AppCard network.
  • Effectively communicate AppCard's value through demonstrable ROI and strategic marketing solutions.
  • Develop and refine analytical models to assess campaign outcomes.
  • Analyze platform data to produce actionable insights that enhance media performance and overall platform value.
  • Configure digital coupon and marketing campaigns using internal AppCard systems.
  • Collaborate with external clients to design and launch digital coupon initiatives and related marketing activities.
  • Manage multiple internal projects ensuring flawless execution of CPG campaigns.
  • Interpret and present campaign results utilizing AppCard’s data warehousing and business intelligence tools.
  • Oversee shelf tag production for digital coupons.
  • Build a profound understanding of the Consumer Packaged Goods industry landscape.
  • Work collaboratively with data teams, marketing, retailers, and account management to run campaigns smoothly.
  • Fulfill assignments directed by the SVP Retail Media and Chief Growth Officer.
  • Conduct all activities in alignment with company values and culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Over one year of successful business analytics experience supporting data-driven marketing or technology solutions within the CPG or grocery retail sectors, ideally involving digital coupons, shopper marketing, or interactive digital media.
  • Strong proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel and/or Python.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple concurrent workstreams effectively.
  • Sound understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem.
  • Advanced digital skills covering media, promotion, online/mobile channels, shopper behavior, and analytics.
  • A passion for delivering customer value with in-depth knowledge of data-driven media buying and ROI evaluation.
  • Ability to adapt and stay focused amid fast-paced, evolving environments.
