Position Overview

This position involves courteous and efficient pickup and delivery of packages along designated routes. It includes verifying that all shipments comply with FedEx Canada service standards and providing related customer service functions.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Capability to lift up to 70 lbs and handle packages weighing up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment.
• Preferred: minimum one year of customer-oriented business experience.
• Successful completion of minimum thresholds on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada's operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient time management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform well under stress in a high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules including holidays as per business demands.

Additional Information

This full-time role requires availability from Monday through Saturday. The incumbent must be capable of performing all assigned duties, pass mandatory testing and training, and operate within a PC Windows environment. Completion of recurring training and maintaining annual certifications are required. Shifts may vary based on business requirements.

Applicants residing in Quebec must be bilingual in English and French. A valid driver's license (Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) with no more than two violations or accidents in the two years prior to application is essential. Candidate evaluation includes reviewing driving records, interview performance, and driver competency assessments.
