Role Summary

The Internship Counsellor will guide students through the complete process of international internships—from initial counselling, program selection, enrollment, documentation, visa assistance, to pre-departure support. The role demands strong communication, sales, and counselling skills along with a commitment to facilitating students' international careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized counselling to students about international internship options aligning with their academic and career goals.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions via phone, video, and face-to-face to recommend suitable destinations and programs.
• Manage and nurture leads obtained from various sources such as CRM, website inquiries, social media, college partnerships, and referrals.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation including application form assistance and collection of necessary documents.
• Guide students through the visa documentation process and coordinate with visa processing teams.
• Organize pre-departure orientations and maintain communication with students throughout every stage of their application.
• Maintain strong relationships with students and parents, addressing concerns professionally and ensuring continuous follow-up until internship commencement.
• Meet monthly targets for counselling, enrollments, and revenue generation.
• Represent the company at education fairs, seminars, webinars, and college outreach programs, while building referral networks.
• Collaborate closely with admissions, documentation, marketing, and operations teams to facilitate smooth coordination including arranging interviews with international hotels and employers.

Required Skills and Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management.
• Capability to nurture leads and efficiently follow up.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under targets.
• Problem-solving mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
• Bachelor's degree in any field, with preference given to qualifications in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or related areas.
• Fresh graduates with excellent communication are welcome, though 1–3 years of experience in education counselling, study abroad services, admission, or international internship counselling is advantageous.
• Experience in hospitality recruitment or overseas education consulting is an added benefit.
