Role Overview
The Contract Supervisor is tasked with managing the day-to-day activities of contract operations to ensure tasks are executed securely, efficiently, and in line with the specified Performance Work Statement (PWS). This position supports the Contract Manager by organizing workforce efforts, tracking schedules, maintaining readiness, and assuring compliance with contractual and government standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily contract tasks and guarantee effective completion of assigned duties.
- Organize and track workforce operations to fulfill operational demands.
- Allocate tasks, evaluate productivity, and verify adherence to schedules.
- Assist the Contract Manager in managing and fulfilling contractual obligations.
- Ensure compliance with the PWS, organizational policies, and relevant government regulations.
- Monitor workforce attendance, performance quality, and operational outcomes.
- Conduct regular inspections to confirm quality and contract compliance.
- Maintain detailed records, operational reports, and documentation.
- Liaise with government officials, subcontractors, and internal teams as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to safety, security, environmental, and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges to safeguard mission effectiveness.
- Support workforce scheduling, planning, and resource distribution.
- Participate in emergency response and contingency operations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- High school diploma is mandatory; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in areas such as operations, logistics, facility management, or government contract support.
- Experience managing diverse teams in dynamic operational environments.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to generate reports, keep accurate records, and coordinate daily workflows.
- Capability to obtain and uphold necessary security clearances and base access, if required.
Preferred Experience
- Prior supervisory roles supporting U.S. Government, Department of Defense, or military contracts.
- Familiarity with military base operations or logistics.
- Background in operations management, workforce coordination, or facility support.
- Understanding of government contract compliance, quality assurance, and operational reporting.
- Experience overseeing contract staff in deployed or contingency overseas settings.
