Contract Specialist

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and refining various types of commercial agreements to support projects, particularly focusing on contributing to AI training datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, assess, and improve high-quality templates, example documents, and annotated samples for agreements such as Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Lease Agreements, Intellectual Property Licensing Agreements, Marketing Agreements, and Licensing Agreements.
• Ensure all agreements adhere to current legal standards and industry best practices while reflecting practical commercial scenarios.
• Provide well-organized, professional documents that aid in AI training project requirements.
• Maintain clear, prompt, and professional communication both verbally and in writing to clarify project needs and expectations.

Candidate Profile

• Currently practicing or recently qualified commercial attorney experienced in contract drafting and negotiations.
• Familiarity with standard commercial agreements, including but not limited to MSAs, lease agreements, and IP and marketing contracts.
• Exceptional skills in written and oral communication, ensuring precision and clarity in legal language.
• Proven ability to tailor legal documents to practical and real-world business contexts.
• Comfortable working remotely with the ability to manage deliverables independently.
• Detail-focused approach to ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices.
• Interest or prior experience in legal operations, technological applications, or AI-driven platforms is advantageous.
