Role Overview

We unite our Civil Engineering and Special Foundations departments to leverage our longstanding experience and technical competency in designing, planning, and constructing sophisticated rail, road, waterway, and industrial structures. We invite you to join our Freiburg team as a Construction Estimator (Baukalkulator) to contribute to innovative and intricate infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculating construction and subcontractor services within civil engineering projects for challenging infrastructure assignments at the Freiburg branch.
• Coordinating with work preparation to derive performance evaluations and identify project opportunities and risks.
• Managing quantity take-offs, construction cost estimations, and validation checks of technical planning documents.
• Preparing tender documentation for subcontractors and suppliers and assessing incoming bids.
• Supporting technical controlling processes by establishing, maintaining, and enhancing construction work calculations.
• Developing supplementary cost calculations and preparing related documents as well as customer proposals.

Candidate Profile

• A successfully completed degree in civil engineering or a comparable field.
• Preferably several years of professional experience in estimating and/or managing complex civil engineering projects within the German market.
• Strong technical expertise focused on civil engineering.
• Motivated and committed to ensuring the success of projects.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient with standard office software applications.
• Familiarity with the RIB iTWO (Arriba) estimation software is advantageous.
