Position Overview
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder invites applications for a permanent, full-time Community Ranger role dedicated to enhancing public safety, compliance, and community wellbeing. Situated in the vibrant regional city of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia, this position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with residents and visitors to foster a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols and promptly respond to community inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure public safety by monitoring and enforcing compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Manage animal control issues effectively and compassionately.
- Provide educational outreach to promote compliance and awareness among residents and visitors.
- Document activities thoroughly and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders while exemplifying professionalism and community respect.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience in community safety, compliance, or closely related fields, with knowledge of local legislation being an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential to address challenging situations calmly and professionally. Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving, and adept time management skills are critical to balancing competing demands. Candidates must be comfortable working independently and cooperatively within a team and possess proficiency in fundamental computer applications. Mandatory requirements include a current National Police Clearance and a Western Australia 'C' Class driver's license.
