Role overview
This position serves as the main link for building and supporting both internal and external developer communities around the software engineering toolchain. The role combines community engagement, support, knowledge sharing, and feedback coordination to help improve the toolchain over time.
What you will do
- Act as the primary contact for nurturing and growing the developer community.
- Provide user support and manage feedback so the software toolchain can be improved continuously.
- Moderate community channels, respond to questions, and encourage active exchange among members.
- Collect, review, and route user input directly into product development.
- Create and maintain knowledge resources such as guides, FAQs, and best-practice examples.
- Plan community initiatives such as webinars and topic-focused event days.
What the company is looking for
The ideal candidate has a completed university degree, for example in technical communication, computer science, communication, or an equivalent qualification. Strong communication and moderation skills are essential, along with a highly service-oriented mindset, enjoyment in solving technical issues, and a structured, independent, and proactive way of working.
Applicants should bring several years of experience in community management or technical support, preferably in a software or embedded environment. A solid understanding of software development processes is needed, together with experience creating technical content such as tutorials or blog posts and confident use of community platforms including forums and social media. Very good German and English skills are required.
