Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs in the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Manage assigned kitchen sections to maintain effectiveness, productivity, and strict adherence to recipes.
  • Prepare and cook meals for staff and guests with close attention to quality, timing, and presentation.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of workspaces, kitchen equipment, and food storage areas, complying with health regulations.
  • Monitor ingredient usage to minimize waste and practice cost-effective cooking techniques.
  • Participate in menu planning, supply ordering, and gain insight into food and labor cost management.
  • Adhere to hygiene, safety, and kitchen protocols while developing culinary skills under supervision.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 months experience in a similar kitchen role.
  • Completion of National Certificate in Hospitality Level 4 in Professional Cookery.
