About the Role
The Staff Pad is partnering with a prominent residential and commercial roofing contractor in Denver, CO to recruit a reliable and knowledgeable Commercial Account Manager. This position involves overseeing the entire process of commercial roofing projects — from identifying prospects and conducting inspections to finalizing contracts and ensuring project completion.
Your responsibilities will include generating new business opportunities, guiding clients and key decision-makers, collaborating closely with estimating and production teams, and consistently providing an outstanding customer service experience. The ultimate goal is to ensure projects are executed seamlessly, transparently, and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover and pursue commercial roofing prospects within assigned territories through research and outreach.
- Perform property inspections and visual assessments to define project scopes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, facility directors, building owners, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the company at trade shows and networking events.
- Inform and advise customers on roofing alternatives, restoration versus replacement choices, insurance claim processes, and company offerings.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare and present proposals.
- Guide clients through contract presentations and signing procedures.
- Act as the main contact throughout the sales process and prior to production.
- Work with the estimating and production teams to establish scopes, meet deadlines, and fulfill project requirements.
- Manage projects from contract approval to final invoicing.
- Conduct final inspections, collect payments, and solicit reviews or referrals.
- Maintain accurate project documentation within AccuLynx CRM, including uploading documents and organizing job files.
- Manage and archive project photographs via CompanyCam or equivalent platforms.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of two years' experience in commercial roofing, construction sales, or property-related services.
- Background working with building owners, property managers, or general contractors.
- Familiarity using CRM systems, preferably AccuLynx, and project tracking software.
- Ability to independently identify prospects, build sales pipelines, and close deals.
- Physically capable of walking on roofs, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills for relationship development.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
