Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Commercial Cleaner to join our team in servicing a prominent private school in Lara, Victoria. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, focusing on bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and common areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchens, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and dispensers.
- Remove waste, rubbish, and recycling materials properly.
- Vacuum and mop floors thoroughly, paying special attention to corners and edges.
- Dust surfaces within cleaning areas to maintain a tidy environment.
- Refill public supplies such as toilet paper, hand soaps, and bin liners.
- Spot clean walls when needed and eliminate cobwebs or other debris.
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and coordinate restocking with the Manager.
- Experience with machine scrubbing is highly desirable.
Candidate Requirements
- Legal right to work in Australia, with willingness to obtain a current national police check and working with children check.
- Prior experience or knowledge in commercial cleaning is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage tasks efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills, a friendly attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining cleanliness.
- Suitable physical and mental fitness to perform required duties.
