CampusKatha is developing a comprehensive digital publishing infrastructure for educational campuses, enabling colleges, universities, student organizations, and editorial teams to create and manage professional digital newspapers, magazines, and other campus publications via a single unified platform. The solution transforms dispersed communication channels such as WhatsApp groups, PDFs, posters, social media, and notice boards into structured, searchable, and scalable digital content.
The platform facilitates instant content publishing, manages contributors and workflows, organizes sections and editions, and maintains searchable archives while simplifying the distribution process. Its design empowers educational institutions and campus communities to maintain ownership and editorial control, nurturing digital publication ecosystems that preserve campus stories, student journalism, and institutional legacy.
Role Overview
The position of Co-Founder at CampusKatha is a full-time remote role, offering flexible location options, primarily based in Barhi. The Co-Founder will take a lead role in shaping overall business strategy, guiding product development and market positioning, and engaging closely with campus stakeholders, students, and leadership to refine and scale the platform.
Daily activities include identifying and pursuing partnership opportunities, leading sales discussions with campuses, collaborating on marketing activities to boost brand visibility and adoption. Additionally, the role requires analyzing campus communication needs, collecting user feedback, and translating insights into product and process improvements.
The Co-Founder will also be responsible for building and leading a focused, high-performing team, managing key projects, and representing the company in various meetings, events, and community forums.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and research capabilities to grasp campus ecosystems and inform strategic planning.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with institutional stakeholders, student groups, and internal teams.
- Proven sales expertise to conduct outreach, pitch the platform, negotiate partnerships, and secure deals with institutions.
- Marketing knowledge to craft brand positioning, execute campaigns, and support growth both on digital platforms and within campuses.
- Prior experience in edtech, media, or SaaS startups, along with familiarity with campus environments or student organizations, is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, a sense of ownership, and capability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related domain such as Business, Communications, Media, or Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
