Co-Founder & CEO - AI E-commerce Operations System

The opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a Co-Founder & CEO to lead Omnex, an AI-first operating system being built for sellers who run multi-channel ecommerce businesses. This is a founder partnership with meaningful equity from day one, not a paid executive position.

Modern ecommerce operators often juggle disconnected tools and manual processes while selling across Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, and other marketplaces. They move between dashboards, reconcile inconsistent data, and make frequent decisions across pricing, stock, advertising, fulfillment, and customer support.

The business sits in a global ecommerce market with more than $1 trillion in annual GMV, where many sellers are expanding across multiple channels but still lack a unified layer of operational intelligence.

About Omnex

Omnex is designed to replace fragmented workflows with an autonomous AI workforce made up of multiple agents. Rather than adding another dashboard, it is intended to understand the business continuously, reason across channels, and take proactive action on operational decisions. That includes improving pricing and inventory, coordinating advertising, forecasting demand, and helping manage customer support. The agents share business context, learn from results, and collaborate to improve the overall performance of the business.

You will build alongside a seasoned studio team led by John Carbrey (4x entrepreneur, $100M ARR), Krista LaRiviere (3x exited, E&Y Top Women Entrepreneur), Alan Smith (Strategyzer co-founder, $120M in products built), Prathna Ramesh (former Managing Director of Maple Leaf Angels, $275M in follow-on capital), and Johnny Tong (0-to-1 builder, acquired by SAP and Stripe).

What you will own

• Strategy: Sharpen the ideal customer profile, pricing approach, and market positioning
• Customer development: Run pilots with ecommerce sellers, turn them into paid customers, and build the go-to-market engine
• Product: Work closely with FutureSight's product and engineering team to launch the first version and improve it based on user feedback
• Capital: Drive the seed fundraising process with support from FutureSight's traction and network
• Team: Hire and lead the founding team while setting the company culture

Founder profile

• Prior experience founding a venture-backed business
• Proven ability to drive B2B SaaS growth through sales and customer engagement
• Comfort with fundraising, including shaping investor stories and closing capital
• Strong track record of attracting, developing, and keeping high-performing talent
• Practical understanding of the risks and responsibilities that come with co-founding a venture-backed company
• Hands-on experience in ecommerce, whether by running a multi-channel business, selling software into the category, or building tools for ecommerce sellers at scale
• Existing relationships in the ecommerce seller ecosystem, including Amazon sellers, Shopify operators, and 3PL partners
