Opportunity
FutureSight is looking for a Co-Founder & CEO to build and lead Omnex, an AI-native operating system designed for sellers who operate across multiple ecommerce channels. This is a founder partnership with meaningful equity from the start, not a paid executive position.
Modern ecommerce companies often juggle disconnected tools and manual coordination. Teams selling through Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, and similar marketplaces move between separate dashboards, correct mismatched data, and make constant decisions across pricing, stock, ads, fulfillment, and support.
The market is enormous, with global ecommerce sales exceeding $1 trillion in annual GMV, yet many multi-channel sellers still lack a unified layer of operational intelligence.
Market Context
Omnex is being built to replace fragmented workflows with an autonomous AI workforce made up of multiple coordinated agents. Rather than adding another dashboard, the system is intended to understand the business continuously, reason across channels, and take proactive action on tasks such as pricing optimization, inventory management, advertising, demand forecasting, and customer support. Each agent shares context, improves from outcomes, and contributes to overall business performance.
About FutureSight
FutureSight is a venture studio that partners with mission-driven founders to create software businesses from the ground up and support them through growth and exit. The team includes founders, operators, and designers with experience launching software companies at scale.
You will work alongside an established studio team led by John Carbrey, a 4x entrepreneur with $100M ARR experience; Krista LaRiviere, a 3x exited founder and E&Y Top Women Entrepreneur; Alan Smith, co-founder of Strategyzer with $120M in products built; Prathna Ramesh, former Managing Director of Maple Leaf Angels with $275M in follow-on capital; and Johnny Tong, a 0-to-1 builder whose work was acquired by SAP and Stripe.
The Partnership
- Meaningful founder ownership from day one

What You Will Own
In this role, you will define the company direction and drive execution across the business.
- Shape strategy by sharpening the ideal customer profile, pricing approach, and product positioning
- Lead customer development, run pilots with ecommerce sellers, convert pilots into paid work, and establish the go-to-market motion
- Work with FutureSight’s product and engineering team to launch the first version and improve it based on user feedback
- Take charge of fundraising for the seed round, using traction and FutureSight’s network support
- Hire and lead the founding team while building the company culture
Co-Founder Profile
- Experience previously founding a venture-backed company
- Strong B2B SaaS go-to-market background, including selling and building customer relationships
- Comfort and skill in fundraising, including building investor stories and closing capital
- Track record of attracting, developing, and keeping strong talent
- Realistic understanding of the pressure and uncertainty that come with co-founding a venture-backed startup
- Hands-on ecommerce experience, whether through running a multi-channel business, selling software to this market, or building tools for ecommerce sellers at scale
- Existing network among ecommerce sellers, including Amazon sellers, Shopify operators, and 3PL partners
