About the Role
Aon Qatar LLC is seeking a Client Manager for its Employee Benefits division based in Doha. This role involves managing a portfolio of corporate clients within Qatar, providing expert guidance on benefits strategy and insurance solutions. The successful candidate will blend strong client relationship management with technical expertise in broking to develop, implement, and oversee Employee Benefits programs, ensure smooth daily servicing and claims management, and contribute to Aon's expansion within the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of and manage a portfolio of Employee Benefits clients by delivering proactive, high-quality advice and service.
- Develop robust client relationships through frequent engagement, understanding their business and workforce requirements, and offering customized Aon solutions.
- Design, market, and place Employee Benefits insurance plans, including preparing presentations, negotiating terms and quotations, conducting comparisons, securing coverage, and handling renewals and mid-term amendments.
- Manage comprehensive policy administration and compliance functions including KYC/AML processes (QFCRA and internal standards), documentation, endorsements, and adherence to placement guidelines.
- Oversee claims processing by coordinating notifications, follow-up with insurers and adjusters, and facilitating timely resolution.
- Ensure prompt premium and fee collections and maintain accurate account handling aligned with company policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and underwriters to strengthen existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in Employee Benefits such as group medical, life, and disability insurance within a broker or insurer environment.
- Demonstrated success in client and account management for corporate clients.
- Practical expertise in designing, marketing, and placing Employee Benefits programs including handling renewals and mid-term modifications.
- Experience in claims handling and coordination for Employee Benefits schemes.
- Good knowledge of Qatar’s insurance market and regulatory framework including QFCRA compliance.
- Working knowledge of compliance standards, KYC/AML requirements, and documentation processes.
- Experience with multinational or complex matrixed organizations is advantageous.

- High analytical capability and numeracy proficiency, able to compare terms and interpret policy and claims data effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills with insurers and other stakeholders.
- Well-developed organizational and time management abilities.
- Collaborative team player attitude, working well with colleagues, underwriters, and partners to deliver tailored solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office suite for analysis and client presentations.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage where applicable.
